Complete Smile Makeover

A smile makeover is the process of improving the appearance of your smile. A smile makeover is an emotional and financial investment you make in yourself to enhance the health, function and appearance of your smile. You doctor will take into consideration your facial appearance, skin tone, hair color, teeth (color, width, length, shape and tooth display), gum tissue and lips to develop your ideal smile. Smile makeovers are performed for many reasons and customized according to your unique considerations. A bright, attractive smile creates a winning first impression. Without saying a word, your smile can convey a confident, optimistic and friendly personality.

Veneers

Unlike a crown, which covers the entire tooth, a veneer is a thin shell that is placed over the front or visible parts of the tooth. Porcelain veneers are used for a variety of reasons such as restoring chipped, broken or worn teeth or to change the shape of a tooth or smile or to improve the color of teeth. With proper care, your new veneers will greatly improve your appearance and increase your confidence for years to come.

Crowns

Crowns are prescribed when a tooth or teeth are too badly decayed, broken or cracked to be easily restored with a filling. In addition, crowns are often recommended after root canal therapy.  Crowns are also placed on dental implants to replace missing teeth. Crowns can be made entirely of gold or porcelain fused to a metal substrate for strength and beauty. However, with new technology, crowns can be made entirely from high-strength ceramic and porcelain for beautiful cosmetic results. Our office uses digital technology and an intraoral scanner for more accurate impressions that prevent gagging and shorten your time in a dental chair.

Inlays and Onlays

Dental inlays and onlays are some of the strongest and most lifelike dental restorations available. The tooth or teeth are prepared in much the same way as for a standard filling. When the tooth has been prepared to our satisfaction, an impression is made and sent to a dental lab. You will usually need a temporary filling until the permanent restoration is fabricated. With proper care, your inlay or onlay will increase your overall health and instill confidence for years to come.

Metal Free Dentistry

Today, metal-free dentistry provides safe, visually-appealing and structurally-sound solutions for tooth restoration. We use composite resin materials that have high strength, yet do not damage the opposing teeth.  These materials are bonded to the existing tooth structure with very high adhesion and can be sculpted for a custom fit.  These materials replace dental amalgam, sometimes described as silver or mercury fillings.

Bonding

Dental bonding is a dental procedure in which a dentist applies a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) and cures it with visible, blue light. This ultimately "bonds" the material to the tooth and improves the overall appearance of teeth.  Tooth bonding techniques have various clinical applications including operative dentistry and preventive dentistry as well as cosmetic and pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics and orthodontics.

Invisalign (Clear Braces)

Invisalign is a modern approach to classic metal braces which uses a custom-made series of aligners created for the patient. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that the patient wears over teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist plans out for you. Aligners can be removed to eat, drink, to clean the teeth, or to have them checked by the dentist.

Orthodontic Dentistry

Orthodontics is the dental specialty concerned with the diagnosis, prevention, interception, guidance and correction of bad bites. The purpose of orthodontic treatment is to create a healthy bite—straight teeth that properly meet opposing teeth in the opposite jaw. A good bite makes it easier for you to bite, chew and speak. In the past, orthodontic treatment was associated with children and teens, but today many adults seek orthodontic treatment to correct long-standing problems, or problems that stem from maturational changes. In our office we provide minor orthodontic care and Invisalign (clear braces) and we can refer you to partnering orthodontists for more complex treatment.

Botox Aesthetics

Botox Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to temporary relieve TMJ and migraine headache pain and to improve the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines.  Botox works by blocking the nerves that contract muscles, softening the appearance of wrinkles and lessening the ability of TMJ muscles to forcefully clench and grind the jaw.

Derma Fillers

Collagen and other injectable wrinkle filler injections give your skin a plumper, smoother appearance by replenishing the skin's natural collagen. Your doctor will fill the space between collagen and elastin fibers within the skin with the filler injections which will replenish the natural volume lost with aging. Filler also attracts and binds water, which helps maintain fullness where it's injected. The natural beauty of your skin is enhanced as the contour of the support structure is restored.

Migraine Headache Treatment

More than 36 million Americans suffer from migraine headaches and women are 3 times more likely than men to suffer from this debilitating pain according to the ADA (American Dental Association).  Botox or Botulinum toxin has been approved by the FDA to treat chronic migraine headaches in adults. The FDA says Botox injections have been shown to be effective in the prevention of migraines and is expected to produce results lasting up to three months depending on the individual patient
